Meet Tamara,
Founder & Principal Designer
Tamara is known for her positivity, warm personality and creative approach to solving problems. Along with her team, she takes pride in helping her clients design the interior they’ve always dreamed of.
Prior to launching NOMADA, Tamara was on the design teams at notable companies such as Ken Fulk, Inc. and Lucky Brand. Having earned her degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, and prior to that a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Cal State Los Angeles, Tamara has a strong understanding of the technical side of design, and the importance of building a space that not only meets her clients needs but also speaks to their personalities.
With nearly 15 years in the design industry, Tamara has a strong understanding of the design & construction process. She values quality craftsmanship and has built countless vendor relationships. This affords her the ability to create unique & well-thought out spaces. With a keen attention to detail, Tamara revels in designing spaces that not only meets her client's needs but also elevates their lifestyle or brand.
Tamara is skilled at creating interiors that can be summed up as eclectic, storied, and soulful. Her extensive world travels have trained her eye for bold color, pattern mix and layered textures that elevate each space that she touches. Her interiors are multilayered and collected, a blend of classic with modern, old with new, high with low, working together to bring excitement to each space.
